You can add top 10 on all topics of interest.

I have an idea for a top 10 but it already exists on the site. Can I create my own version of this top 10?

Of course! In fact, we encourage you to do this and we have made a feature called "ReTop" allowing you to easily create a top 10 from another one.

To make my top 10, do I have to create an account on Directoid?

Yes. Creating an account is free and easy step that will only take a few minutes. Once registered on Directoid, you will automatically be able to start writing your top 10.

Can I create a top 3, a top 5, top 20, in short, a top containing more or less than 10 elements?

Directoid is a site of top 10s. This is the basic rule.

In fact, we believe there are ways to find at least 10 items in a list.

In the case of lists where the number of items exceeds 10, we are convinced that you can limit the number to 10.

Directoid is developed according to the latest versions of web browsers. First, we suggest you update your browser.

What is a ReTop?

ReTop is the action of "Re-Topping" a top 10 or if you prefer, to create your own top 10 from a top 10 that already exists. For example, browsing Directoid, you find a top 10 of your favorite band songs and you want to create your own version of this top 10. It's easy. Simply click on the ReTop button located on the top 10 you like and your personal top 10 is automatically created.

You can then adjust the items in your version making your top 10 reflects what you like. This may include changing the elements of position. You can also remove items from the list and add new ones.

What is a Master Top?

A master top is a top 10 created where the elements and their positions are based on all top 10 that exist on the same subject. It reflect in some way, the average opinion, the collective thought of a given subject. For example, if 300 peoples have created a top 10 of the best places to visit in Paris, and 250 of them have given the Eiffel Tower the first position, then the master top will display the Eiffel Tower in position 1.

What is a Master element?

The concept of the master element is based on the master top. Each person will not necessarily agree with the description or the image associated with an element. By cons, something will come to be used more often. This then becomes the master element.
